KNOWLEDGE NETWORKS REPORTS RECORD QUARTERLY AND ANNUAL REVENUE

Menlo Park, CA; January 24, 2006: Knowledge Networks has announced it has surpassed previous records for quarterly and annual revenue, posting over $9 million in fourth quarter (2005) revenue and $32 million for the year overall, a significant increase over 2004.

"The industry increasingly recognizes the business value of quality consumer and public policy information, backed by expert insight from our organization," said Patricia Graham, Knowledge Networks' Executive Vice President, Client Service and Business Development. "In 2006 we will continue to invest in staff growth and performance along with innovative sources of marketing information – such as the recently launched KnowledgeCommunitiesSM – allowing us to not just meet, but anticipate the needs of our clients."

Knowledge Networks is a seven-year-old company owned principally by management and such leading venture capital firms as Oak Investment Partners, Maveron, Alloy Partners and Oak Hill Venture Partners. In the 2005 Honomichl Top 50 ranking of U.S. research firms, Knowledge Networks appeared at #23 based on 2004 revenues.

"Knowledge Networks has lived up to its promise of delivering top-quality consumer learning that leverages the many advantages of online interaction," said Fredric W. Harman, General Partner of Oak Investment Partners. "As companies come to appreciate the Internet's advantages for research, but find they cannot live without the reliability that leads to wise decisions, KN's status as the first and best in this space can only increase its success. The company continues to make the right investments and adaptations to sustain healthy growth for many years to come."

Knowledge Networks delivers quality you can use—superior methodologies, design, and analysis that give you an edge when it comes to understanding consumers and making business decisions. KN's unmatched consumer research resources include the only projectable Web-based consumer panel. The company leverages its expertise in brands, media, advertising, and analytics to provide insights that speak directly to clients' most important marketing issues. In addition, Knowledge Networks has built a substantial practice in government and academic research, an area notable for its rigorous methodology standards.
