SENIOR LEADER IN CONSUMER INSIGHTS JOINS KNOWLEDGE NETWORKS TO DIRECT BOSTON-AREA OFFICE
Menlo Park, CA; July 28, 2004: Cindy Trish, a client service specialist with over 25 years of executive experience in consumer insights, has joined Knowledge Networks as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, assuming leadership of the company's Boston-area office in Needham, Massachusetts.
From 1997 to 2002, Trish was a key executive at Research International; as Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President, she created and implemented strategic business plans in the Technology, Telecommunications, and Energy practices. She was a member of the Executive Board for RIUSA – which set strategy for the $75 million organization – and led groups of more than 25 employees.
"Cindy brings to Knowledge Networks an exceptional gift for creating and nourishing great client relationships," said John Lewis, KN's President and Chief Executive Officer. "We could not hope for a more versatile and committed director of our Boston team. Her substantial business experience and leadership qualities will bring benefits to the development of Knowledge Networks on many fronts."
"To truly deliver against our clients' needs, we go the extra mile when it comes to learning about their businesses," observed Patricia Graham, Knowledge Networks' Executive Vice President of Client Service and Business Development. "This approach comes naturally to Cindy; she knows that an ongoing dialogue is essential to delivering the added value that makes consumer insights not just interesting, but indispensable elements of business decision-making. I know that Cindy will help Knowledge Networks continue to grow in its commitment to helping new and existing clients make wise decisions about marketing."
Trish said, "I am thrilled to be joining Knowledge Networks, which has achieved so much and yet still holds remarkable promise for the future. I look forward to helping the company find new ways to guide clients to important insights about their businesses, as well as demonstrating our extraordinary capabilities to those who may not have worked with Knowledge Networks yet. I think the next couple of years are going to be exciting for this company, and I am eager to play a role in its growth."
Trish spent 11 years – 1983 to 1994 – establishing and building a $3 million market research firm, Trish Information Services of Santa Clara, California. After selling this business, she served as Senior Vice President of InfoPlex, where she was head of the Market Research Division for three years.
Most recently, Trish managed a multi-million-dollar retail spirits business near her home in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. In addition to developing and executing the business's strategic plan, she conducted extensive research to identify its most profitable customers and establish better ways to meet their needs.
