2007-2008 AP-Yahoo News Election Panel Study

From November 2007 to December 2008, Knowledge Networks conducted an eleven wave longitudinal election study on behalf of The Associated Press (AP) and Yahoo! News. The study was funded by contributions from Yahoo! News, The Associated Press and Knowledge Networks. The project was directed for AP by Polling Director Trevor Tompson, with significant contributions throughout the project by Sunshine Hillygus, then of Harvard University and now at Duke University, and from Norman Nie at Stanford University. The sixth wave of the study, with a special focus on racial attitudes, was co-sponsored and partially funded by the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences at Stanford University.
This unique dataset is now being made available to researchers for download. The study documentation and data files are available at the links below.
