KN Dimestore is part of GfK, the 5th largest Market Research Organization in the world. At KN Dimestore, we help clients optimize brand-focused online advertising campaigns using established metrics like awareness, favorability, message recall and purchase intent. We are working with the top DSPs, Networks and Brand Agencies.
As part of the "Online Advertising Ecosystem" we provide technology solutions to measure and optimize online media campaigns through in page surveys. Our clients are leading Publishers, Advertising Networks, Behavioral Targeting companies and DSPs as well as Agencies.
We are expanding our development team with a new position in New York City to work on our next generation customer facing applications and our technology integration into advertising systems that rely on real time data for decisioning and campaign optimization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive the evolution of our client-facing interfaces for survey management and reporting
- Work with Product Management to define feature sets and select front-end tool kits and architecture to achieve optimal outcomes
- Work with team members in multiple locations to coordinate project development
- Write excellent and elegant code that works well
- Document well what you do so other members can understand and follow your thoughts
- Deliver your projects on schedule
- Help troubleshoot when things go awry in production
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related technology field
- Strong experience with J2EE, JSF
- Strong object oriented, cross-browser JavaScript / HTML5 skills
- MySQL knowledge required, experience with Map/Reduce a BIG plus
- Experience with Flash desired
- Experience with Ruby on Rails a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic and geographically distributed environment
- Knowledge of and experience in digital media and/or advertising a plus

Education:
