Research Analyst, Panel Management - Palo Alto, CA
The Research Analyst is responsible for working with the Director of Panel Management to manage all aspects of KnowledgePanel. This includes implementing the recruitment and empanelment process; assuring good survey taking experience; implementation of incentive, retention and device retrieval programs; and maintaining and analyzing panel data.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the KnowledgePanel recruitment process – sample preparation, recruitment material mailings, recruitment questionnaire, call center campaigns and data processing.
- Assist in the creation of key panel metrics – recruitment response rate, profile rate, survey completion rate, attrition rate and panel composition.
- Assist fulfilling client service needs – data appends, cumulative response rate calculations and panel capacity estimates.
- Assist in the implementation and analysis of other ad-hoc panel projects such as recruitment, incentive, retention and prompting experiments.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's or higher preferred) in a Social Science or quantitative field
- 1+ years relevant experience in market/survey research, especially with panel operations, large survey samples (Web, telephone, mail and/or in-person) or longitudinal studies.
- Experience with data analysis, data management and reporting using multiple databases.
- Ability to manage several projects at a time.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in SAS, Excel and MS office is a must. Working knowledge of SPSS and SQL helpful.
