CBS NEWS ELECTION COVERAGE

CBS News worked with KN to provide a nationwide assessment of the reaction of uncommitted voters to the presidential and vice presidential debates. The studies provided feedback on important questions around the election season, including the degree of support for the candidates, before and after watching the debates, and issues viewed as most important by the electorate. Results featured prominently the BBC News home page ("US rivals clash on bail-out vote" - Sept. 29, 2008), among other pubs. Related press release

ON SAMPLING

In a recent Wall Street Journal review of David W. Moore's recent book, The Opinion Makers (Beacon Press, 2008), Thomas Riehle (Partner, RT Strategies) credits Knowledge Networks' unique panel methodology – using an RDD sample frame and providing Internet service to those without it – as a solution to one of polling's largest afflictions: the issue of non-response. The review, titled "The Art of Yes, No and Maybe," appears in the 9/26/08 online issue of the Journal.
